1994-5 Postcard: White card stock (9"x6"); printed in tan and grey-brown. Hand-written PostScript, TeX, and the Reckoning Time illustration program. Type: Adobe Caslon, Adobe Caslon Ornaments, Monotype Rococo Ornaments, Monotype Arabesque Ornaments, Linotype Caravan Ornaments. The Walt Whitman illustration, based on a photograph of Whitman from near the end of his life, was created by manually positioning 351 ornaments from 8 different typefaces, using a X11 program written specially for the occasion.
